And the final one -- Author and lecturer Leo Buscaglia once talked about a contest he was asked to judge. The purpose of the contest was to find the most caring child. The winner was a four year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife. Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman's yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there. When his Mother asked what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said, 'Nothing, I just helped him cry'

Ter ou nao Ter Eis a Questão


Antes de me "crescer e aparecer" me imaginava com uma família de 3 filhos, dois 100% nossos, 1 adotado. À medida que amadureci, casei, já achava a vida tão boa que adiei em mais de 1 ano a decisão de termos filhos.

Logo que a Bianca chegou, resolvi que queria muito mais bebês! Assim que cai na real (de novo) e as noites insones e roupas sujas se acumulavam, passei a pensar, socorro, quero fugir! E mais mais ficava imaginando, como será que aquelas mães de antigamente tinham 7-8 filhos sem anestesia nem nada e criavam todos sem fraldas descartaveis, sem leite instantâneo ou bottle warmer. Quanto mais penso, mais me sinto incompetente, não só eu, mas toda uma geração do sexo frágil!

Hoje depois de quase 1 ano, comecei a me questionar se quero ter outro filho ou não lá para quando a Bianca tiver 2 anos. As dúvidas são muitas, mas, inesperadamente o que mais vem a minha cabeça é que ter um filho seria despojar Bianca de seu reinado, quase um ato de traição. Amo tanto a Bianca que não quero magoá-la, não quero dividir esse amor com mais ninguém. E questiono ainda: É POSSIVEL AMAR MAIS AINDA????? Sinto que o primeiro filho é tão especial que um segundo filho jamais seria tão amado, assim não seria justo ter um filho menos amado! (Muito embora todas as pessoas que tem mais de um filho digam o contrário em relação ao tamanho do amor e como é possível dividi-lo, na verdade, multiplicá-lo!)

Apesar de tudo isso, paradoxalmente às vezes penso que queria ter um filho pela Bianca mesmo. Para que ela tenha nessa vida alguém com quem possa contar incondicionalmente, assim como conto com a minha irmã. Alguém que lhe conhece a vida inteira, sabe seus defeitos, mas está sempre ali para você no matter what.

Nada decidi, nada decidimos eu e Babe, mas continuo pensando...
